Ka-27 and Mi-24 Naval Aviation Helicopters in the Baltic Sea Discovered and "Destroyed" a Submarine with a P-50T Bomb

Crews of Ka-27 and Mi-24 helicopters of the naval aviation unit of the Baltic Fleet conducted exercises to search for and destroy a submarine of a mock enemy with the implementation of practical bombing. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

According to the legend of the exercises, a submarine of a mock enemy was discovered in the Baltic Sea. Ka-27PL helicopters of the naval aviation of the fleet went to the specified area and discovered the submarine using radar and sonar equipment.

After determining the coordinates of the submarine, the pilots of the Ka-27 and Mi-24 helicopters carried out bombing with P-50 T aerial bombs from the air. Military sailors successfully hit all mock targets.
