The Russian company Eltech, known for its mattress production (part of Askona Life Group), has started producing compact electric vehicles. Production was launched in the city of Dobrograd, Vladimir region. The cars were named "Spectre".
The electric vehicles were created by their own engineering center, and 87% of their parts are produced in Russia. According to insiders, the frame, suspension, and interior trim are made in Russia, while the drive elements are supplied by the Chinese company Lvtong Technology.
The Spectre electric car is equipped with a 48-volt electrical system, a 4-kilowatt electric motor, and a 100-amp battery. In the summer, it can travel up to 80 kilometers, and the maximum speed is 23 km/h. The cars are already available at a dealer in Moscow. The cost is 2.1 million rubles.
