Footage of a Russian Su-24 front-line bomber flying over the Black Sea has gone viral on the Web. The video shows that the plane passed over the water at an extremely low altitude.
The bomber's passage was filmed by fishermen who were clearly surprised by such proximity to the flying Su-24.
The Su-24 crew consists of two people - a pilot and a navigator. The aerodynamic design of the aircraft is a twin-engine high-wing aircraft equipped with a variable sweep wing.
The Su-24 is designed to deliver missile and bomb strikes against ground and surface targets, including at low altitudes. The aircraft has eight hardpoints for weapons, which are equipped with air-to-surface and air-to-air missiles, unguided and guided aerial bombs and projectiles, and removable cannon mounts. It can carry tactical nuclear weapons (bombs). Equipped with a 23 mm GSh-6-23 cannon.
