The online service "Avito", together with partners, will buy tires from private sellers. The service will initially be available in the application for motorists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Vladimir and Anapa.
A representative of the online platform promised that Russians will be able to sell used tires in just 1 day. To sell them, the owner needs to place a standard ad on Avito.
If the product is suitable for purchase, the partners of the online service will contact the seller and name an estimated price. Tires can be handed over to the buyer independently or through a courier.
According to the Russian Environmental Operator (REO), about 1 million tires are thrown away annually in Russia. Only half of them are recycled. Selling used tires on Avito can reduce the amount of waste.
