The Marshal Ustinov missile cruiser of the Northern Fleet, Project 1164, code "Atlant", conducted a series of exercises with live firing in the Barents Sea as part of planned combat training activities. This was reported by the fleet's press service.

During the maneuvers, the cruiser's crew completed tasks to suppress targets of a mock enemy on the coast of the Rybachy Peninsula, and also practiced all types of defense of a single ship during a sea passage.

The ship carried out artillery firing at coastal targets on the coast of the Rybachy Peninsula at a distance of more than 15 km using the AK-130 artillery system.

Also, the crew of the Osa-MA2 anti-aircraft missile system, during the repulse of a mock enemy attack, carried out practical launches of anti-aircraft missiles at aerial targets. Anti-aircraft missiles were also fired at a surface target, which was a sea target.
