Crews of multifunctional Su-30SM fighters and a Su-24MR front-line reconnaissance aircraft of the Baltic Fleet naval aviation made a series of training and combat flights over the Kaliningrad region in order to increase combat readiness.
Su-30SM aircraft fired from aircraft guns and practiced dropping aerial bombs on objects of various types. Special attention was paid to the work of the Su-24MR front-line reconnaissance aircraft, which conducted aerial reconnaissance before the Su-30SM took off.
Su-30SM is a two-seat multirole fighter of the 4++ generation. The aircraft is designed to destroy both air and ground targets with a wide range of guided and unguided weapons of the "air-to-surface" and "air-to-air" classes.
The Su-24MR is equipped with radar reconnaissance equipment with image recording, has a variable sweep wing and is capable of developing supersonic speed at extremely low altitudes, which ensures its high efficiency and maneuverability in performing reconnaissance tasks.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Kinzhal missile carrier, the Vice Admiral Kulakov ship, entered the Barents Sea.
