The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) will check prices for Lada cars after an appeal from the National Taxi Council (NST). At the same time, the complaint itself was dismissed due to the lack of necessary documents
In February, the NST sent a letter to the FAS signed by the executive director of the union, Natalia Lozinskaya, in which she asked the antimonopoly service to check the facts of price increases for Lada Vesta and Lada Granta models purchased for taxi fleets.
Taxi drivers stated that over the past two years, the cost of Granta and Vesta cars has increased significantly — by 1.8 and 1.6 times respectively. At the same time, the average price of cars in Russia for the specified period increased by only 28%.
Earlier www1.ru reported that AvtoVAZ will release the latest Lada Granta Cross model in the "liftback" body in the summer of 2025.
