The Russian fourth-generation multi-role fighter Su-35S approached the French Reaper drone several times, which was operating over the eastern Mediterranean Sea. This was announced in the social network X by the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic, Sebastien Lecornu.
According to him, the incident occurred on Sunday, March 2. The drone was performing a surveillance task over neutral waters.
The Russian Su-35S made three passes in close proximity to the drone. The actions were "aggressive" and could have led to loss of control of the drone.

- Maximum combat load weight - 8 000 kg
- Practical ceiling - 18 000 m
- Number of suspension points - 12 with the possibility of placing 14 air-to-air missiles
