Successfully Arrived at Destination: Progress MS-30 Space Truck Docked with the ISS

Progress MS-30 Delivered 2,599 kg of Cargo to the Station

Progress MS-30 completed 34 orbits around the Earth and automatically docked with the Zvezda module of the International Space Station (ISS). The docking of the space truck took place tonight at 02:04 Moscow time. This was reported by the press service of Roscosmos State Corporation.

The ship delivered 2,599 kg of cargo to the ISS. Among them are 1,179 kg of equipment, clothing, food, medical and sanitary supplies. In addition, Progress brought 950 kg of fuel for refueling the station, 420 liters of drinking water, and 50 kg of nitrogen to replenish the atmosphere.

A new Orlan-MKS No. 6 spacesuit also arrived at the station. The novelty differs from the previous version with an internal sealed shell made of high-tech fabric and an automated water cooling system. In addition, a new information display system has been installed on the spacesuit.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Soyuz-2.1a rocket with the Progress MS-30 spacecraft was installed at the launch site.
