Su-35s will be stationed in Bandar Abbas or at the Hamadan base

The Iranian Air Force Command may announce the adoption of the Su-35 generation 4++ multirole super-maneuverable fighters purchased from Russia as early as March. This was reported by Defender Iran.

Looks like we really have to wait for a surprise on March 19!

Tehran has not officially confirmed this information.

Bulgarian Military writes that this date was not chosen by chance. The adoption of the Su-35 into service will take place on the eve of Nowruz (March 21), an important holiday for Iran.

Tehran has used such moments to demonstrate strength - recall at least the presentation of the Bavar-373 air defense system in 2019.
