A new feature has appeared in Telegram for Android 11.8. It allows you to see the interlocutor's data.
Now the application will display the country (where the user's phone number is registered), the date the account was created (month and year of registration), the number of shared groups, and the verification status.
So far, this feature only works in the beta version. This change in the messenger's functionality may affect the level of anonymity of users. Telegram has previously been criticized for insufficient data protection.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Telegram started testing the function of paid messages and comments.
