KamAZ-54901 became the fuel efficiency leader among trucks

In tests on the M-11 highway, the flagship tractor outperformed Chinese models

The flagship fifth-generation KamAZ-54901 tractor, produced at the Kama Automobile Plant, demonstrated outstanding fuel efficiency results on the M-11 Neva highway. It outperformed its Chinese competitors.

In an experiment covering almost 700 kilometers of the highway from Moscow to St. Petersburg, four vehicles with cargo from Wildberries participated: KamAZ-54901, its sibling KamAZ-54902, as well as Chinese models Shacman and Sitrak.

All the vehicles successfully completed the route without breakdowns. Following refueling, the actual fuel consumption figures were analyzed, rather than the data from onboard computers, which may be inaccurate.

The results for average consumption per 100 kilometers were as follows:

▪️ KAMAZ-54901 – 25.2 liters; ▪️ Shacman – 25.4 liters; ▪️ KAMAZ-54902 – 26.1 liters; ▪️ Sitrak – 28.9 liters.

Thus, the fifth-generation KAMAZ became the leader in fuel efficiency among the tested trucks.
