At the Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant named after E. S. Yalamov (part of Rostec), a new defibrillator with voice and visual prompts AND-25 was created. This was reported by the press service of the Shvabe holding.
The new device is highly efficient and easy to use, which allows it to be used not only by medical professionals, but also by people who have completed a specialized course in basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
The defibrillator provides voice prompts about the number and depth of compressions. This helps to identify errors in a timely manner and correct actions.
AND-25 automatically analyzes the heart rhythm and gives clear voice and visual instructions. 84 voice prompts, such as "Attach electrodes", "Do chest compressions" or even "Do not touch the patient", guide the user through the entire process.
The device is compact, charges quickly and does not require electrode replacement. The device is suitable for use in both children and adults
The use of the AND-25 defibrillator can be very wide: it is suitable for hospitals, ambulances, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, sanitary aviation, as well as for schools, kindergartens and places of mass gathering of people.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the first Russian portable ventilator will be released on the market in 2025.
