Russian specialists have created the first drone suppression system in the country, "Titan," based on artificial intelligence. The complex is equipped with a laser, a radio-electronic suppression system, and a 24-barrel 12-gauge turret with optical control and automatic reloading.
Artificial intelligence allows to recognize drones and automatically capture aerial targets.
"Titan" is a complex of products that allows neutralizing UAVs. The complex includes several modules that allow solving problems of detection, suppression, and target designation for physical neutralization in case the drone has not been suppressed by integrated electronic warfare and optical suppression means.
A laser module with a range of 3 km is also integrated into the complex. The artificial intelligence of "Titan" is capable of recognizing drones based on 120 million files, which allows automatically capturing targets and neutralizing the threat.
The anti-drone system uses a "software implementation of neural network algorithms for detecting a flying object and for selecting suppression means with the possibility of fine-tuning for various application conditions."
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian Navy will receive four more frigates with Zircon and Kalibr missiles.
