The opening of the section of the M-12 Vostok high-speed highway from Kazan to Yekaterinburg is scheduled for the end of June. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin after flying over the section under construction between Tatarstan and the Sverdlovsk region.
According to Khusnullin, the pace of work is good, and the delays are insignificant.
There was a delay for a number of reasons, including weather conditions. Last year there were heavy rains, in some places the road was washed out, and sand and gravel could not be delivered.
Currently, you can drive from Moscow to Kazan along the M-12 Vostok highway. In the near future, the authorities plan to extend the highway to Yekaterinburg, and then to Tyumen.
Earlier, www1.ru reported how much it now costs to travel on toll roads, what the rules are, and where to stop for a rest.
