Exercises of the Project 133.1 ship in the Baltic Sea were conducted using 76.2-mm and 30-mm artillery mounts

The crew of the small anti-submarine ship (MPK) "Kabardino-Balkariya" of Project 133.1 carried out artillery firing at sea and air targets in the Baltic Sea. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The shooting took place as part of naval exercises. The military used a special float shield as a target. Fire was conducted on it from 76.2-mm and 30-mm artillery mounts.

Also, the MPK "Kabardino-Balkariya" repelled attacks by air attack weapons of a mock enemy from various heights and directions by means of the ship's air defense against an simulated air target.

Ships of Project 133.1 are designed to search, track and destroy submarines in the coastal and near sea zone. Military vessels are armed with AK-176 and AK-630 anti-aircraft artillery systems, RBU-6000 rocket launchers and 533-mm torpedo tubes, as well as modern sonar systems.
