Two applications for registration of Lada Yarus and Lada Yashma trademarks have been submitted to Rospatent. The applicant is not disclosed, and appeared on the agency's website on February 17 this year.
New trademarks are registered in three classes of the International Classification of Goods and Services — automobiles, toy models and services for the repair and maintenance of vehicles. On the same day, three more applications for registration of Lada Tigris, Lada Ariva and Lada Parus trademarks were filed with Rospatent, without specifying the applicant.
In 2024, AvtoVAZ also registered new trademarks — Ursus, Terum, Altra, Astera, Azimut, Gravis, Merida, Retiva, Tarusa and XTour. All of them are also registered in three classes of ICGS — 12, 28 and 37.
Currently, AvtoVAZ produces Granta, Vesta and Niva models. In May 2024, mass production of the Largus family of cars will begin, and in November — of the Lada Aura business class models. In the spring of 2025, the automaker plans to launch the production of the Lada Iskra family of cars, and in 2026 — the Lada B+ Cross crossover on the Vesta platform.
