Sollers has commissioned new presses for assembling the intermediate shaft of 6-speed manual transmissions. These transmissions will soon be installed on the updated UAZ "Profi". At the end of this year, the UAZ "Patriot" will also receive a similar gearbox.
The intermediate shaft is one of the key components of the manual transmission, which guarantees the reliable operation of the unit. The three new units of pressing equipment will ensure high precision pressing of the intermediate shaft components - synchronizers and gears, automate the technological process, which will positively affect the quality of Sollers light commercial vehicle gearboxes.
The production of 6-speed manual transmissions has been carried out at the "SOLLERS Transmission Production" plant since February 2024.
