AvtoVAZ has applied for registration of the trademark Lada Tigris. This may indicate the emergence of a new car model from the manufacturer, however, there has been no official confirmation yet.
Under the Lada Tigris brand, not only cars can be produced, but also accessories, spare parts, as well as maintenance and repair services can be provided.
It is not yet known whether Tigris will remain only in the register of trademarks or whether Tigris will become a full-fledged model.
It is worth noting that this is not the first case of AvtoVAZ registering a new name. Previously, the company patented other names, but not all of them reached mass production.
