Kronstadt, the company that produces the Inokhodets reconnaissance and strike unmanned aerial vehicles, announced the first successful test flight of the new drone and published an image of its silhouette.
Judging by the outlines, it could be the Sirius UAV, which was first presented back in 2020. It is slightly larger than the Inokhodets in size.
An important advantage of the new drone is its two engines, thanks to which the Sirius is capable of carrying more payload - 450 kg versus 200 kg.
During the first test flight, the drone confirmed its readiness for further complex testing. The test flight was an important stage in the implementation of the flight program for the development of this new UAV, Kronstadt noted.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Kalibr and Uran carriers, the corvettes Rezky and Aldar Tsydenzhapov, maneuvered off the coast of Indonesia.
