Last weekend, an operation was carried out at the International Space Station (ISS) to refuel the tanks of the "Zarya" functional cargo block. The Progress MS-28 cargo ship acted as the tanker. 122 kg of fuel and 64 kg of oxidizer were transferred.
The cargo ship arrived at the ISS on August 17, 2024. It brought about 2.5 tons of various cargo. Currently, Russian cosmonauts, participants of the 72nd long-term expedition — Alexey Ovchinin, Ivan Wagner, and Alexander Gorbunov — are working at the ISS.
Meanwhile, preparations are underway at Baikonur for the launch of the Progress MS-30 cargo ship. It will be sent into space using the Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket on February 28, 2025.
