Cargo ship "Progress MS-28" successfully refuels the ISS

The functional cargo block "Zarya" received the fuel

Last weekend, an operation was carried out at the International Space Station (ISS) to refuel the tanks of the functional cargo block "Zarya". The cargo ship "Progress MS-28" acted as a tanker. 122 kg of fuel and 64 kg of oxidizer were pumped.

The cargo ship arrived at the ISS on August 17, 2024. It brought about 2.5 tons of various cargo. Currently, Russian cosmonauts, participants of the 72nd long-term expedition — Alexey Ovchinin, Ivan Wagner and Alexander Gorbunov — are working at the ISS.

Meanwhile, preparations are underway at Baikonur to launch the cargo ship "Progress MS-30". It will be sent into space using the "Soyuz-2.1a" launch vehicle on February 28, 2025.
