A video went viral on the network showing a man transporting a starting engine from a 9M335 missile of the Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system (ZRPK) on a bicycle.
The footage shows that the cyclist attached the power plant from the ammunition to the trunk of a two-wheeled vehicle and slowly rode along the side of the road.
The 9M335 anti-aircraft missile is two-stage and made according to a bicaliber scheme. This configuration allows the ammunition to accelerate as quickly as possible to 1300 m/s after launch and maintain it throughout the flight path, which in turn provides the missile with the necessary "reserve" of speed for active maneuvering.
The maximum boundary of the target engagement zone of this missile is limited to 20 km in range and 15 km in altitude.
