Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has approved new rules for the formation of an electronic directory of professions, which will now become part of the unified digital platform "Work in Russia".
Previously, the directory was an independent resource that did not always accurately reflect the current demands of the labor market. The new version of the directory will take into account the forecast of the economy's need for personnel and data on the demand for professions, which will be collected by the All-Russian Research Institute (VNI) of Labor.
The institute will conduct sociological and expert surveys annually, and also collect data monthly from popular job sites and analyze the employment of university graduates. The updated directory will display information on the estimated salary and demand for professions at both the federal and regional levels. This will help improve the accuracy and relevance of the data, as well as ensure a fuller compliance with the real needs of the labor market.
