Russian engineers have developed a special shotgun cartridge for the military to fire at unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from automatic weapons. Thanks to it, the probability of hitting drones increases significantly.
The ammunition contains six metal balls with a spread of up to 50 m, they "pierce through" enemy drones from a distance of 30 m.
In fact, this is shot, skillfully pressed into a regular automatic cartridge. A burst of such bullets creates an insurmountable cloud in front of the enemy drone.
One of the scouts said that the cartridge is most effective when fired from a Kalashnikov light machine gun. When firing at drones in the sky, a "lead cloud" is formed, guaranteeing a high probability of eliminating the UAV. These cartridges have already shot down a heavy Matrice drone.
