A rare 1993 IZH "Planeta-5" motorcycle has been put up for sale in Tatarstan. The seller claims that it has never been started. The motorcycle could be a real find for collectors.
The motorcycle without a sidecar spent about 30 years in a shed. It is in almost perfect condition. The owner, along with the motorcycle, is giving away a set of keys, tools, safety bars, two cans of original paint and documents. The uniqueness of the IZH "Planeta-5" is that gasoline has never been poured into it.
The owner is asking for 370 thousand rubles for a zero-mileage copy. Exactly the same motorcycle, but with minimal mileage, can be found on the market for 95,000 rubles.
IZH "Planeta-5" was produced at the Izhevsk Motorcycle Plant in the early 1990s. The model became one of the last in the "Planeta" line.
The motorcycle was equipped with a 4-stroke single-cylinder engine with a volume of 350 cm³, with a capacity of about 28 horsepower. The maximum speed was 120 km/h. IZH "Planeta-5" has a 4-speed manual gearbox and weighs approximately 150 kg.
