Power plants reached maximum speed on test benches

The "Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant" (KMZ) military-industrial holding has successfully tested a large batch of engines for the Russian army's military equipment. A large batch of power units has successfully passed tests and is ready to perform combat missions; the engines reached maximum speed on test benches.

The power plants are used on special equipment such as BMD (airborne combat vehicle), BMP (infantry fighting vehicle), Osa air defense system, 2C7M Malka and Msta-S self-propelled artillery units (SPGs), T-72B tank, and a tractor for the S-300 anti-aircraft system.

KMZ provides a range of services to ensure the guaranteed and uninterrupted operation of diesel units for civil and military purposes. The company also fulfills state contracts for the overhaul of diesel engines for engineering equipment.
