In Russia, GOSTs for smart homes came into effect on February 1, allowing to distinguish a building with high-tech content from marketing ploys.
They establish requirements for equipping apartment buildings with safety sensors, motion detectors, gas leak detectors, as well as accounting and resource-saving systems. The "smart home" will have to regulate heating depending on the outside air temperature.
The series of GOSTs describes the architecture of a smart home, requirements for the compatibility of devices and their interfaces. Although GOSTs are not mandatory, they can become the basis for regulatory documents and sets of rules used by developers.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Ministry of Construction has developed a new GOST for the use of drones in geodesy and construction.
