The Russian main battle tank T-90 "Proryv" is considered the most advanced in the world due to its powerful weaponry and versatility. Nevertheless, the engineers have made the combat vehicle's protection even better, @izvestia noted.
On the T-90M, the glass of the commander's panoramic sight has received protection. Additional containers of "Relikt" dynamic protection have been installed on the hull and turret of the tank.
The T-90M "Proryv" tank is the most advanced vehicle in the T-90 family, and also the most adapted to operations in modern combat conditions, including through the availability of a modern all-weather highly automated fire control system and the implementation of measures to increase survivability, as well as all-aspect protection.
The vehicle received a more powerful engine and a fundamentally new turret. The "Proryv" is equipped with a 125-mm tank gun, allowing it to destroy enemy tanks at a range of up to 5 km. The new multi-channel sight ensures the use of weapons at any time of the day.
In addition, the ability to exchange data with other vehicles in real time has become one of the main features of the modernized tank.
