Crews of coastal missile systems (BRK) "Bal" and "Bastion" in the Kola Peninsula conducted a planned exercise to destroy ship strike groups of a mock enemy in the Barents Sea. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
According to the training scenario, a mock enemy was preparing to launch a missile strike on the coastal infrastructure of the Northern Fleet. After receiving the combat mission, the "Bal" and "Bastion" crews marched from their permanent deployment point to the training position area.
Having received target designation, the crews of the complexes performed a firing by the method of electronic launch at a target simulating a detachment of ships of a mock enemy and located at a distance of about 300 km. Objective control means confirmed the accurate operation of coastal missile systems
