«Автодор» отменил правило двух часов на М-11 «Нева» для коротких маршрутов

Drivers will no longer be required to pay the maximum fare for delays on short routes

The state corporation "Avtodor" announced on the evening of February 5 the abolition of the two-hour rule for short routes on the M-11 "Neva" highway between Solnechnogorsk and St. Petersburg.

According to this rule, motorists who spend more than two hours traveling a route less than 50 kilometers long were required to pay the maximum fare. The rule was introduced to combat fraudsters who evaded paying tolls. It negatively affected conscientious drivers: they could be delayed, for example, at gas stations.

The abolition of the "penalty fare" will come into force on February 17, 2025.
