Russia's main arms concern, Kalashnikov, will for the first time present the latest short-range anti-aircraft missile system for territorial air defense (SAM BRD TPV) KRONA-E at the IDEX 2025 forum in the UAE, the concern's press service said.
The KRONA-E complex is designed to protect against air attack weapons:
- state objects
- infrastructure facilities of particular importance
- warehouses and cargo
The main target of the SAM system is medium-class drones. The KRONA-E includes detection and control equipment, as well as automated combat vehicles, combined into a single system. The complex engages targets with anti-aircraft guided missiles (SAM) 9M340 and 9M333.
