Russian main battle tanks T-90 enter the battle within five minutes after receiving a target from reconnaissance. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
The tank commander with the call sign "Skripa" noted that his crew mainly performs standard tasks - repelling attacks, defending positions, and inflicting fire damage on enemy equipment clusters.
At the same time, the tanks also operate from a closed firing position, and the vehicles are on duty on a permanent basis.
We are always on a low start. As soon as our unmanned aerial vehicles observe some kind of roll-out of equipment or enemy manpower, it takes literally five minutes - we rush to the position and just smash everything there.
The T-90 tank is equipped with a V-92 diesel engine with a capacity of about 1000 hp. In order for a tank with such a power plant to start moving at temperatures from 0 to -20°C, it is first necessary to warm up the engine with a special device - a heater - for 20-30 minutes, then start it and warm it up for about 10 minutes at idle speed to a temperature of 40°.
Thus, in winter, it will take a total of 30-40 minutes to start the engine.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Rostec called the unique Mi-35M the most brutal helicopter in the Russian army.
