A rare 1954 GAZ-12 ZIM car has been put up for sale in Chita. Its price is 2 million rubles, which is quite cheap for a collectible car with a production run of 21,500 units.
These cars were produced from 1950 to 1960. Surprisingly, this particular one has only traveled 7,142 kilometers.
The interior has been updated, so there are no longer any folding seats in the second row. But for history buffs, there is a lot of interesting things here, especially in terms of layout. The GAZ-12 ZIM was the first car with a deer on the emblem.
The car has remained without technical changes: under the hood is a 3.5-liter engine with 90 hp, working in tandem with a manual gearbox. The body is in good condition, so the price of 2,000,000 rubles for such a car seems a bit low.
Earlier, a Soviet Izh-2125 "Kombi" liftback from 1989 went on sale. The owner claims that the car is in perfect factory condition. Over 36 years of operation, the car has traveled only 54 thousand kilometers. Under the hood, you can see new parts: a fuel pre-filter and a battery. All other elements remained original.
