Russian paratroopers "put on the move" a captured M113 armored personnel carrier manufactured in the USA. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
The department noted that during the repair, the necessary spare parts were removed from another M113 and installed on the captured vehicle, after which it "got on the move."
The armored vehicle was evacuated in two stages. First, the military reconnoitered the area, and then evacuated the combat vehicle under the continuous impact of FPV drones and enemy artillery. It was hooked on a tow and delivered to the repair unit.
The difficulty was that this is a trophy, we don't have spare parts. We had to find another trophy to restore this armored personnel carrier. We disassembled, just looked at what was being installed, how it was being disassembled.
Inside the vehicle were ammunition, automatic rifles, machine guns and grenade launchers. The vehicle itself was blown up after running over a mine and lost its track with the right front friction.
