Blade Will Tear: Special Cartridges to Destroy UAVs Developed for Russian Military

7.62x39 caliber ammunition with shot confidently hits FPV drones

New shotgun cartridges of 7.62x39 mm caliber have been developed for the Russian military to destroy drones. Instead of a metal part, they have a hollow bullet printed on a 3D printer, filled with shot.

The 7.62 cartridge was chosen due to its larger caliber compared to 5.45, which allows for an increased shot load.

Fighters use cartridges with a self-loading carbine designed by Sergei Simonov. The effective range can reach 30-50 m.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Saudi Arabia is interested in the Russian Pantsir-S1M SAM system.
