Belarusian Air Force pilots practiced combat training maneuvers on Russian heavy multirole 4++ generation Su-30SM fighters. The pilots honed their skills in the sky over the airfield of the 61st Fighter Air Base in Baranovichi. This was reported by the Belarusian Armed Forces Military Information Agency "Vayar".

Scheduled flights ensure the training of the flight personnel of the Belarusian Air Force.

Before the flights, the technical staff thoroughly maintains the aircraft, ensuring their perfect condition.

About the Su-30SM fighter

The Su-30SM fighter is a modification of the Su-30MKI. It is designed for aerial combat and gaining air superiority.

The first flight of the Su-30SM took place on September 21, 2012. The aircraft was commissioned in the same year.

In the summer of 2017, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus announced plans to purchase 12 Su-30SM fighters.
