Схему московского метро переведут на китайский

The digital map will be available in Chinese on interactive screens in modern train carriages

In the near future, a digital map of the metro in Chinese will appear on interactive screens in train carriages running on the capital's subway. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry, Maxim Liksutov.

On the interactive screens in trains that are equipped with such screens, in the near future you will be able to see a separate section, switch to Chinese and build your route specifically for our guests, tourists from China, or those who are studying Chinese or speak it.

A unique metro map in Chinese can already be seen in the first and last carriages of the thematic train dedicated to the celebration of the New Year according to the Eastern calendar.

The press service of the subway reported that the names of metro stations, the Moscow Central Circle, the Moscow Central Diameters and other objects were translated taking into account the rules of Chinese grammar. Specialists made the Chinese names of the stations consonant with the Russian ones, so that guests from China could better understand the announcer when he speaks in Russian.

For guests from China, names created using the Palladius system were used. This is a special method of translating Chinese words into Russian.

A thematic train dedicated to the Year of Culture of Russia and China will run on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line for a month. The branded train is made in red, which is traditional for Chinese culture and symbolizes happiness, joy, good luck and prosperity.

The exterior of the carriages features the symbol of the coming year — the snake — and the Chinese dragon, which represents a good beginning. Inside the train, passengers can see photographs dedicated to the celebration of the New Year in China.

On the head carriages, we placed the emblem of the Years of Culture of Russia and China with the image of a Russian bear and a Chinese panda in national costumes, holding hands.

Earlier it became known that 32 new metro stations will appear in Moscow by 2030. In 2025, the construction of the section of the Troitskaya metro line from the ZIL station to the Novatorskaya station will be completed. By 2030, the Sosenki, Letovo, Desna, Kedrovaya, Vatutinki and Troitsk stations will appear on this line.
