A large-sized armored vehicle "Buran" is up for sale in Moscow. It was created on the basis of a GAZ cargo chassis, which explains its significant size and impressive off-road characteristics.
In the passenger compartment of the SUV, four comfortable seats with electric adjustments and leather trim were installed. This part of the cabin is separated from the driver by a rising partition.
"Buran" was armored according to the Russian standard Br4 — the car protects passengers from shots from AKM and AK-74 assault rifles, and there are loopholes in the doors for return fire.
The design of the "Buran" is based on a modified all-wheel drive chassis from GAZ, under the hood there is a four-cylinder YaMZ-534 turbodiesel with a volume of 4.4 liters and 148 hp in combination with an automatic transmission. The ground clearance of the car is 29 cm, the depth of the ford to be overcome is up to 1.2 m, the total weight of the car is 10.6 tons.
The price of the SUV is 35 million rubles. In 2024, one of the metropolitan dealers put up for sale an armored Toyota Land Cruiser for 30 million rubles.
