Fight fire with fire: Ministry of Defense shows video of enemy drones being destroyed by net-throwing drones

The net blocks the rotation of the UAV's propellers

The Russian Ministry of Defense published a video showing Russian small drones with net-dropping devices shooting down several unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The objective control footage shows drone operators approaching several drones from above to capture them and dropping special nets on them. They cover the enemy's drones and block the rotation of the propellers, after which the UAVs fall.

The department noted that the drone crews of the group are on duty around the clock in the sky and identify enemy UAVs with a system for dropping mines, shots or improvised explosive devices.

Earlier www1.ru reported on the main disadvantage of the BMP-3 with an anti-drone canopy.
