The "Kalashnikov" arms manufacturer has developed two modifications of the 5.45-mm AK-12 assault rifle: AK-12K (shortened) and AK-12CK (small-sized). The company will present them at the international exhibition of weapons and defense technologies IDEX 2025, which will be held from February 17 to 21 in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
The assault rifles are designed to destroy enemy manpower. The new products have improved technical, ergonomic and operational characteristics that meet the requirements of modern combat.
AK-12K and AK-12SK were developed for the 5.45x39 mm cartridge. When firing, cartridges with ordinary 7N6 bullets, cartridges with 7N10 high-penetration bullets and cartridges with 7T3 and 7T3M tracer bullets are used. The magazines of the AK-12K and AK-12SK hold 30 rounds. The assault rifles are equipped with a low-noise firing device (PMS) weighing no more than 0.8 kg.

- Assault rifle length in combat position - no more than 810 mm, in stowed position - no more than 570 mm
