A mosquito fleet has significant advantages over large ships in terms of high maneuverability and, therefore, low vulnerability. This opinion was expressed by the head of the scientific and expert council of the Marine Board, President of the National Research Center "Kurchatov Institute" Mikhail Kovalchuk.
Today, with hypersonic weapons, with new missiles, in a new form of weaponry, any large ships are simply a target. But imagine if we move from this to a mosquito fleet?
A former military pilot, author of the Telegram channel Fighterbomber, also noted that the strategy of forming a mosquito fleet completely outweighed the idea of a large fleet in the Black Sea.
Chris Osborne, President of the American Center for Military Modernization Warrior Maven, added that the enormous size of the Russian nuclear cruiser "Admiral Nakhimov" will become its disadvantage, as it is clearly visible to radars.
