«Ростелеком» предупредил о возможной утечке данных через инфраструктуру подрядчика

Компания «Ростелеком» призвала пользователей порталов company.rt.ru и zakupki.rostelecom.ru поменять пароли

"Rostelecom" announced a possible data leak. Users were advised to reset their passwords.

Previously, the contractor servicing Rostelecom's Internet resources had already experienced information security problems. It is assumed that the data leaked from its infrastructure.

This concerns information from the company.rt.ru and zakupki.rostelecom.ru portals. Rostelecom assumes that particularly sensitive user data was not affected. The company recommends that all users of these sites change their passwords and enable two-factor authentication for additional security.

DLBI, a service specializing in leak detection and darknet monitoring, reported that hackers claimed to have gained access to the databases of these sites. As proof, they provided tables with registered users and requests received through feedback forms.

Hackers claim that the database, dated September 20, 2024, contains 154,000 unique email addresses and 101,000 phone numbers. Representatives of Rostelecom have not yet confirmed the authenticity of this information.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Rostelecom denied information about a personal data leak from the electronic summons registry website.
