Запорожская АЭС, «Военторг», ГТЛК и ОАК оказались под новыми санкциями США

Второй за январь 2025 года антироссийский санкционный пакет ударил по предприятиям, связанным с космосом, промышленностью и Минобороны

The US Treasury Department has presented its second sanctions list targeting Russia this month. It includes more than ten individuals and dozens of Russian companies associated not only with the military sphere but also with industry, science, and technology.

In particular, the following are among those subject to US sanctions:

  • aircraft manufacturers from PJSC UAC;
  • Zaporizhzhia NPP;
  • GTLK - the largest leasing company in Russia, which leases air, unmanned aerial, water, and railway transport, energy-efficient passenger transport, and urban passenger transport to domestic enterprises in the transport industry;
  • TsNIISM - an enterprise engaged in the design and production of structures made of modern polymer composite materials for rocket and space technology, transport, energy, petrochemical engineering, and other industries;
  • KVC Patriot - a venue under the patronage of the Russian Ministry of Defense, where the international military-technical forum "Army" is held;
  • Motovilikhinskiye Zavody - designs and manufactures special military equipment and oilfield equipment;
  • JSC Voyentorg - a production concern. It is the sole provider of services for the needs of the Ministry of Defense in organizing catering, bath and laundry services, individual tailoring of military uniforms, and the supply of property for the clothing service. Also, Voyentorg is the sole supplier of clothing property and individual tailoring of uniforms for the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation and the sole supplier of clothing property and catering for the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia;
  • NPO Lavochkin - a leading enterprise in the Russian rocket and space industry. It is engaged in the development and manufacture of space information systems, complexes for fundamental scientific (planetary and astrophysical) research, the study of the Sun, and solar-terrestrial relations.

This "blacklist" also included foreign companies that conducted trade and economic cooperation with Russia in a number of areas, contrary to sanctions threats. These are representatives of Hungary, China, the UAE, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, and other countries.
