The MT-LB tracked platform, nicknamed "motolyga" among the military, works almost flawlessly in all weather conditions. The Russian military spoke about this advantage of the equipment.

Minor breakdowns happen, but we fix them quickly. Passable, maneuverable, speed is sufficient, approximately 60–65 km/h.
The "motolyga" has a heater, but the soldiers try not to use it unnecessarily so as not to create unnecessary noise.
The weight of the MT-LB in the basic configuration is about 10 tons, the capacity is two crew members and 11 soldiers in the troop compartment. The squat silhouette allows the "motolyga" to hide from enemy fire in the folds of the terrain and to operate near the front line.
