In 2024, AvtoVAZ dealers sold only 162 units of the Lada X-Cross 5 crossover. This is according to data provided by "Autostat Info."
In 2023, only 170 crossovers were assembled from Chinese knockdown kits at the former Nissan plant in St. Petersburg. The Lada X-Cross 5 is essentially a FAW Bestune T77 with Lada logos. They are practically identical in appearance, and the Lada X-Cross 5 has a 160-horsepower turbocharged engine and a 7-speed automatic transmission. The car also features a multimedia system and a panoramic roof.
The joint project between AvtoVAZ and FAW to assemble cars turned out to be unsuccessful. Some of the cars remained in AvtoVAZ's fleet, while others were transferred to the company's partners.
In addition, seven Lada XRays, which were discontinued about three years ago, were sold from the remaining stock.
AvtoVAZ also sold a five-door Lada Niva with an extended wheelbase. Such models have not been produced since 2021, but four units were still sold. Also, four Lada Granta hatchbacks found their owners, although this modification has also been discontinued for a long time.
