In 2024, AvtoVAZ sold 190 Lada Aura cars in one month. This not-so-cheap sedan only appeared at dealers in late November. At the same time, the Aura model was only available in large car dealerships, and there was no increased demand for it among ordinary customers.
Before the New Year, 17 Lada Aura cars were delivered to the State Duma. There was also information about purchases for the Presidential Administration and the Ministry of Finance, but information about the number of cars purchased was not disclosed.
Among other original Lada "novelties" that were first registered in 2024, we can mention the five-door Lada Niva with an increased wheelbase. Such cars have not been produced since 2021, but four copies still remain with the leaders.
Four Lada Granta hatchbacks also found their owners, although this modification has not been produced for a long time.
Of the remaining cars, Russians managed to buy seven Lada XRay cars, despite the fact that the production of cross-hatchbacks was discontinued almost three years ago. In addition, the dealerships sold 162 X-Cross 5 crossovers, which were produced as part of an unsuccessful collaboration with FAW.
For all models that are currently being produced, AvtoVAZ has exceeded the figures for 2023, but this is largely due to the fact that progress was achieved due to the low base effect.
Earlier it became known that AvtoVAZ is producing the newest Lada Aura model at a rate of 76 units per day. The new car is available in two trim levels: Aura Premier, costing from 2,599,000 rubles, and Aura Status, from 2,799,000 rubles. Both trim levels are equipped with a 1.8-liter engine with 122 horsepower and a CVT, which ensures smoothness and comfort during trips.
