Как защитить глаза при наблюдении за Солнцем: рекомендации Московского планетария

Observing the Sun Requires Special Filters

The Sun, whose visible diameter will be at its maximum this year on January 4, can damage your eyesight if viewed without filters.

The Moscow Planetarium noted that observing the Sun, as during a solar eclipse, must be done using special solar filters.

The filters are installed in front of the lens of a telescope or other optical device and reduce the flow of solar radiation to a safe level for the eyes.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that on January 4, residents of Earth will see the largest Sun in 2025.

The Earth will be at perihelion on January 4 at 16:28 Moscow time, when the distance to the Sun will be reduced to 147,099,586.3 km. The most distant point of the orbit will be passed on July 5 at 08:08 Moscow time, when the distance will be 152,096,155.2 km.
