The release date of the new seven-seater minivan from AvtoVAZ has become known. The company plans to release the new product in 2027, according to a former engineer of the automaker, insider KhaDm.
He recently publisheda schematic image of the new car. The blogger explained that work on it is progressing slowly, since Lada Iskra, a new crossover, and the updated Vesta are more priority projects for AvtoVAZ now.
It is planned to be released in 2027. However, AvtoVAZ is already planning to immediately equip the new model with modernized 1.6 and 1.8 liter engines.
The plant also plans to equip the minivan and crossover with a Chinese 1.4-liter turbo engine with 149 hp in conjunction with a variator, but much depends on the eastern partners, the insider emphasized.
The dimensions of the new product are similar to the Dacia Jogger station wagon: its length is 4547 mm, the wheelbase is 2897 mm, and the height is 1632 mm.
