Popular premium crossover Voyah Free to be produced in Russia

Cars will be assembled at the Motorinvest plant together with Evolute electric vehicles

The production of premium Voyah Free crossovers will be established in Lipetsk. The car has already received Vehicle Type Approval (OTTS). Production will be handled by Evia JSC, whose legal address coincides with the address of the Motorinvest plant, where Evolute cars are also assembled.

The certified version of Voyah Free is a pure electric vehicle, not a hybrid. The crossover is equipped with two all-wheel drive electric motors with a total power of 490 hp.

The traction battery has a capacity of 106 kWh. This provides a range of up to 500 km according to the WLTP method. The dimensions of the car are 4905 x 1950 x 1645 mm, and the wheelbase is 2960 mm. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes only 4.7 seconds.

On the official Voyah website in Russia, the price for the electric Voyah Free is 4.2 million rubles. However, it is not yet clear how the launch of assembly in Russia will affect the cost of the car.

As for Evolute electric vehicles, demand for them in Russia remains low. There is a possibility that this was the reason for the significant discounts on these models.

Earlier www1.ru reported that analysts assessed the preparedness of new cars in Russia for cold weather.
