Project 21980 boat will help the FSB protect the Russian border

A special-purpose boat (Project 21980 "Grachonok") has joined the Northern Fleet's detachment for combating underwater sabotage forces. Boats of this project are effective in protecting basing points and military facilities of the fleet, including from terrorists.

Anti-sabotage boat P-104 "Nakhimovets" (Project 21980) 

The state flag was raised on the boat P-475. It has joined the Kola Flotilla of mixed forces (part of the Northern Fleet).

About Project 21980

The Project 21980 "Grachonok" anti-sabotage boats are designed for the Russian Navy. They are also intended to assist the Border Service of the FSB of Russia in protecting the border. The project was developed at the "Vympel" Design Bureau.
